The Resume Foundry
Privacy

A plain-language privacy note.

The Resume Foundry is designed to keep the workflow simple and data exposure low. This page explains what stays in the browser, what is uploaded when you use the tools, and what the app is intentionally not built to keep.

What stays in your browser

The Write in App draft is stored in local browser storage on this device. Your theme choice is stored locally too so the site can remember it between visits.

What gets uploaded when you use the tools

When you upload Markdown for render, or a PDF or DOCX for audit or recovery, the file is sent to the app so the request can be processed. The app is designed to use those files only long enough to complete that request.

What is not the point of the app

The Resume Foundry is not built as a long-term cloud document locker. The product goal is to let you draft, preview, audit, recover, and export with as little retention as possible.

Third-party links and normal web infrastructure

Links to LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio pages, or future external services will follow the privacy practices of those services. Depending on hosting, standard technical logs such as IP address, browser details, and request timing may still exist at the infrastructure level.
